Dr. Steven Cox, MD MBA

Lancaster Medical Director

Dr. Steven D. Cox grew up near Dayton, Ohio, and received his M.D. caste from The Ohio State University in 1979.  Afterwards completing a general surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, he moved back to Ohio and opened a Full general Surgery practice in Lancaster, Ohio.  He maintained a decorated surgical practice for the next 35 years, and during that time served many roles at Fairfield Medical Eye (FMC), including Chief of the Department of Surgery.   In 2006 he obtained a Master of Business organisation Administration degree, and in 2008 became a Certified Doctor Executive.  While continuing his surgical do, he became Principal Medical Data Officer at FMC, and so Chief Medical Officer in 2010.  In view of the escalating opioid crunch in Ohio, in 2013 he joined the Lath of The Recovery Center, an habit treatment center in Lancaster.  In 2019, he joined Life Leap Recovery in Lancaster equally a provider, bold the role of total fourth dimension Medical Managing director in August.

Michael Schetter MPAS, PA-C

Clinical Compliance Officer

Michael earned Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Biological Sciences from Ohio University in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Joyce Cox, MBA, MSN, CNP, OCN, CRNFA

Joyce Cox, MBA, MSN, CNP, OCN, CRNFA graduated from Mount Carmel Schoolhouse of Nursing and began her nursing career in the ICU at Fairfield Medical Center. For nearly 20 years, she served in many areas of the infirmary and establish a dear working in the operating and recovery room. This led to her obtaining her certification as an Operating Room Nurse and Registered Nurse First Banana. She joined the practice of Dr. Steven Cox serving every bit Part Managing director and assistant in surgery. Joyce returned to work at Instance Western Reserve where she obtained a Master's Degree in Nursing and her Postal service-Master's Certificate equally a Nurse Practitioner. Keri Cunningham MS, RN, FNP-C

Lindsay Mackey, CNP

Lindsay began her medical career by obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Otterbein University in 2012. Upon graduation, she accepted a position as a Staff Nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Lindsay worked over the next 5 years on the Trauma and Intermediate Intendance Unit. In 2017, Lindsay graduated from Otterbein University with her Master of Science in Nursing and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Life Spring Recovery, Lindsay worked in pain management as a Nurse Practitioner for 2 years. While working in both the hospital and pain direction, Lindsay saw the affect that the opioid crisis had on society which led to her passion for habit medicine.

Staci Crist, CNP

Staci graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2010 with her Bachelor of Scientific discipline in Nursing. She began her career as a Staff Nurse at The Ohio Land University Wexner Medical Heart, where she worked over the next 9 years, primarily within Medical/Surgical units and as an Oncology Nurse specializing in Gynecology and Urology. She decided to further her educational activity at Chamberlain College of Nursing, obtaining a Main of Science in Nursing and becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019.

Staci's passion for addiction medicine began while caring for patients who struggled with opioid dependence. She oftentimes witnessed the barriers involved in transitioning care at belch and began researching MAT programs. Throughout her Main's program, Staci pursued clinical experiences at outpatient opioid treatment programs. She felt an immediate connection with this population and field of medicine, which led her to begin her avant-garde exercise career at Life Bound Recovery.
